As a Grade 1-6 Teacher at Wildwood Farm & Forest School, you'll have the opportunity to inspire young minds in a unique outdoor learning environment. You'll implement curriculum that integrates core academic subjects with hands-on experiences in nature, agriculture, and sustainable living. Ideal candidates will have a teaching credential, experience in outdoor or experiential education, and a passion for innovative teaching methods. You'll work collaboratively with our team to create engaging lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and environmental stewardship.

Teacher Assistants play a crucial role in supporting our lead teachers and ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment for our students. You'll assist with lesson preparation, supervise outdoor activities, and provide individualized attention to students. This position is perfect for those pursuing a career in education or environmental studies. You'll gain valuable experience in outdoor education methodologies while contributing to the holistic development of our students. Strong communication skills, patience, and a love for both children and nature are essential.

Join our small administrative team to help keep Wildwood Farm & Forest School running smoothly. In this role, you'll support the Director by assisting with payroll, enrollment and communications, and support our teaching staff and families by keeping them connected to us and one another. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and proficiency in Google Docs/Sheets/Forms. Also seeking experience with or willingness to learn Canva and Squarespace. Social media and email marketing experience are a plus, as is the willingness to hop in and take photos as needed. Flexibility is a must: some days you may need to be a friendly face greeting students, but most days you'll be an efficient problem-solver behind the scenes. A background in school administration or non-profit management is beneficial, as is a passion for our educational mission.

As part of our Barn Help team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of our farm animals. This position involves daily care tasks such as feeding, grooming, and cleaning enclosures. We're looking for individuals with experience in animal care, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about sustainable agriculture and animal husbandry.

Summer comes alive at Wildwood with our day camp programs, and we need enthusiastic Camp Counselors to make the magic happen. In this seasonal role, you'll lead small groups of campers in a variety of outdoor activities, from nature hikes and farm chores to arts and crafts and team-building games. We're seeking individuals with a high energy level, and a knack for making learning fun. You'll help create unforgettable summer experiences while reinforcing our school's core values of environmental stewardship and community.
